A Honkai: Star Rail leak has revealed a whole new set of Light Cones that will potentially be available to claim in version 2.0. Light Cones in Honkai: Star Rail function as weapons, providing units with stat bonuses and a passive ability that can be useful in different circumstances. These items are tied to a specific path and can be upgraded by consuming materials called Aethers. One thing to note is that the wearer must belong to the same path as the Light Cone to get its ability; for example, only Abundance-type units can unlock passives on Cornucopia or Fine Fruit.

In every Honkai: Star Rail update, new Light Cones become available through a banner, and players have an increased chance to pull them for a limited time. However, this is not the only way to get Lightcones, as they are dropped upon completing Trailblaze missions and boss skirmishes in Echoes of War. When players unlock a new weapon, they will eventually want to ascend it to receive better stats. The ascension process works similarly to that of Genshin Impact, requiring Trailblazers to consume the proper materials (Aethers) that can be obtained from Calyxes.
